Why BORGChat? :.
Since the summer of 2002 I’ve been trying to build a chat that has everything I need to communicate in my network.
I’ve used other programs before, but none had everything I wanted so I started (from scratch).
For now, BORGChat is still in BETA stages but v1.0 is expected this summer!
You can use this feature-packed LAN messaging software to chat and transfer files with other users in your LAN. You can message users privately, or everyone can chat in a common “channel” (room). You can even create your own channel and limit it to specific users. Another nice feature is the ability to pause and resume file transfers.
