µTorrent is an efficient and feature rich BitTorrent client for Windows sporting a very small footprint. It was designed to use as little cpu, memory and space as possible while offering all the functionality expected from advanced clients.

For those using BitTorrent, this is a fairly new (but steadily forming a sizeable user base) BitTorrent client, that you might want to try out. It’s a standalone exe (only 132 KB !), with no external dependencies, and no installation required.
I have been testing this client over the past few days, and I must say it’s performance has really been excellent. I’ve been getting consistently high download speeds (for popular files), and any paused or stopped downloads are resumed instantly.
The program’s memory usage has not exceeded 5 MB, even though the software has been running for more than 24 hours, and it uses very little CPU. This matches the advertised maximum expected memory usage on their site, which is 6 MB
This client may not be as popular as Azureus or BitComet at the moment, but it surely is catching on.
